Austrian group LINZ TEXTIL GmbH is a leading weaving and spinning European company. They will present cellulosic yarns and premium cotton using high open end, classic, spinning, Compact et Airjet (Rieter Comforjet).

They use fibre from Lenzing - Viscose®, Modal®, Micromodal® et Tencel®. They target fashion, furniture textile for medical and technical use.

These four new exhibitors, each in their own area of expertise, are representative of the Expofil offer, which adapts to the evolution of its markets according to criteria of service, reliability, proximity and diversity of sourcing, while addressing variations in raw-material prices and consumers' environmental concerns by researching and developing alternative fibres and blends.

GOL IPLIK (Turkey)

Is a specialist in viscose staple fibre and blended yarns for knits (flat and circular) as well as wovens, for apparel and home furnishings. The company, which offers a stock service, proposes blends with linen, wool, angora and silk to meet the needs of markets interested in natural fibres. In 2010, its production volume was more than 18,000 tonnes.

INTERFIL (Italy)

The spinner, which is a member of Seri.co, the quality label of Italian silks, offers a wide range of greige and dyed yarns made of natural and synthetic fibres. With a production capacity exceeding 15 tonnes/day, Interfil serves woven markets (clothing, furniture, accessories), knit markets (circular and flat) and the footwear market.

PALLAVAA GROUP (India)

A vertically integrated company that produces yarns (capacity ~ 1,400 tonnes/month) on all three major spinning systems - Air Vortex (MVS), classic and open-end. It works closely with Lenzing, with whom it has developed a wide range of yarns. Strongly interested preserving the environment, Pallavaa offers, under the brand name Longlasst, a green fibre made from converting Lenzing cellulosic fibres on the Vortex spinning system. The Pallavaa collection also includes yarns made from recycled polyester and bamboo viscose.

UNITAS (Croatia)

With this Croatian spinner, Expofil expands its offering to a new sector: needlework. It presents a varied and colourful range of yarns to embroider, to crochet, and for tapestry in 100% cotton, 100% viscose, and cotton/viscose and cotton/acrylic blends. 75% of its output is exported, mainly to European countries (Germany, Italy, Benelux...)
